What to eat for better sleep

In short:

  • more calories -> takes longer to fall asleep
  • more fiber -> deeper, more restorative sleep
  • more saturated fat -> lighter, less restorative sleep
  • more simple carbs -> more likely to wake up in the middle of the night

Sample size was small so it’s not written in stone yet, but if you follow a diet for better sleep (don’t overeat, more fiber and less junk food with simple carbs and sat fats), you can’t go wrong. 🙂
